“Turner needs a breakfast restaurant,” was the conclusion I came to many years ago as I was driving through town. I always believed that there was nothing more fun than going out to breakfast, nothing more delicious than a hot breakfast and nothing begins the day better than dining with a like-minded companion.

That was in 2013. Coincidentally, there was a building for lease in downtown Turner: a former bank with a parking lot, a wide porch and a corner entry. I began to dream, which gave way to plans, which gave way to opening my very own café. With no restaurant experience, no staff, menu, equipment, or idea what I was doing, I started down the road of what is now the Turnaround Café.

We opened our doors in the fall of 2014 – to a power outage! A transformer blew that first morning and so we opened with a bang.

It has been quite a journey, but one that I would have not missed for the world.

Welcome to the Turnaround Café. We have been waiting for you!
